How Often Should I Get a Massage?

Due to the huge number of health benefits to receiving massage therapy, having treatments regularly is essential. The body goes through large amounts of strain as we go about our daily lives and you need to ensure that your body is nurtured and rejuvenated. Life is busy but we need to look after our bodies.

It all depends on the needs of the individual, whether it is emotional, physical or mechanical. Personally, I think if you are receiving maintenance treatment and you are not being treated for a specific issue treatments every 3 weeks is ideal. If you have a specific issue that needs treatment, it would need to be a little more regular. It will help with overall tissue repair and pain/discomfort reduction. Everyone has to work but work can cause a lot of stress to the body, massage would also help alleviate this.
